What is LPA and Flash Audit?
Layered Process Audits (LPA) and quick 5-minute checks (often called Flash Audits, Kamishibai, or Gemba walks in manufacturing companies) are a key tool for ensuring production stability. Unlike in-depth system audits, they focus on rapid, repeated verification of critical steps directly on the line.
Why does our generator combine process and system questions?
Practice shows that static questionnaires for a single type of problem quickly lead to routine and so-called operational blindness. An experienced auditor knows they must look up from the machine and observe the operator (and vice versa). Therefore, our algorithm randomly mixes the following for each audit:
- Systemic Questions (Focus): These focus on discipline, standards, 5S compliance, or escalation rules when a nonconformity is detected.
- Technological Questions (Process): These focus on the hard technology of the specific machine (e.g., visual boundary samples for injection molding, gauge calibration for CNC).
This intelligent mix guarantees that the checklist examines the workplace comprehensively and the auditor maintains maximum attention.
How to properly work with the generated checklist?
In the top panel, simply select your process type and the thematic focus of the audit. The application will immediatel generate a professional preview. To obtain a full-fledged PDF file (without a protective watermark) that you can instantly take to the production floor, just enter your corporate email at the bottom. The generate form can then be printed or distributed to your team.
